Polytan SMART is an innovative, highly precise and user-friendly system that is installed directly under the surface of the track or playing field. Athletes from the amateur level all the way up to professionals can use the built-in SMART timing gates to get detailed performance diagnostics or track their times.

The system can be used with a high-performance Bluetooth sensor from our partner Humotion and the SmarTracks diagnostics software, or simply on the user’s own smartphone.

Polytan SMART Feat. Smartphone

The free smartphone app Smart Run by Humotion was developed specifically for amateur athletes who want to optimise their training. Attaching the smartphone to a running belt on the user’s lower back allows the app to make optimal use of the sensors in the smartphone and measure all the relevant parameters in conjunction with the SMART timing gates. The measurements, which are evaluated and analysed directly in the app, include distance, time, number of steps and step frequency, both as interim results and absolute values.

Polytan SMART Feat. Bluetooth-SENSOR DX5.0

For athletes who want to train with as little weight and as much precision as possible, we also offer the DX5.0 sensor, which weighs only 15 grams. The sensor attaches to a special belt worn around the waist while training and, together with the Polytan SMART timing gates, records all the desired parameters, which can be accessed on a laptop using SmarTracks diagnostics software or directly on the Smart Run by Humotion app. The DX5.0 sensor is available as DX5.0 Timing and DX5.0 Diagnostics.
