“Next Generation Athletes” ambassador Elisa Gräve:
POLYTAN PROTÉGÉ ON COURSE FOR SUCCESS
Polytan has teamed up with the German Hockey Federation (DHB) to launch the “Next Generation Athletes” (NGA) initiative to develop the skills of young players – another important building block in the long-standing partnership between the DHB and the world’s leading manufacturer of synthetic turf and sports surfaces. The primary aim of the NGA programme is to provide support and funding for two talented hockey players in their sporting career. The U21 international hockey player Elisa Gräve has proved to be an extremely effective ambassador for the programme in recent months: the Düsseldorf HC striker has already competed with success in her second major tournament as part of the German women’s hockey first-team squad. She clinched her ticket to the 2018 World Championships in London along with the national team at the World League 3 in Johannesburg back in July. Following a strong preliminary round and an unlucky defeat by Korea in the quarter final shoot-out, she and her team finished in sixth place at the World League 4 in Auckland, New Zealand, in November.
