The installation, regular inspection and maintenance of playground equipment must comply with the requirements of the applicable standard DIN EN 1176-1:2017. The playground operator bears responsibility for their compliance. Since 2018, the foundations of playground equipment must also be checked by an expert as part of the annual general inspection. To do this, they must be freely accessible in the soft-impact surface. InspecS® covers for soft-impact surfaces enable an unrestricted inspection of the foundations on vertical and inclined posts quickly and easily. There is no need for patches, time-consuming repairs or playgrounds being closed for days. Furthermore, InspecS® inserts fulfil the impact attenuating properties of the soft-impact surface surrounding the post as required by DIN EN 1177. They can also be retrofitted.
